Annabelle grabbed her sword with her free hand. Showing she was willing to protect. "It's okay..." She said in a soothing tone, her voice soft and welcoming.

Cloud stopped in his tracks, and considered running back. Reuben was far gone by now. Reuben spotted him and mouthed the words: Save me.

Happy that Danielle wasnt going to get herself killed, Melinoe walked away from the group. She sat underneath a tree and watched.

Melinoe sighed and walked up to the boy they called Cloud and held her hand out. "Give me Baby."

Cloud couldn't answer. He was good on his feet, nearly tripping a couple of times as Baby tried to eat him. he got Baby still and glanced warily at Melinoe. "What are you planning on doing?"

Reuben glared. He hated being pulled into things.

Annabelle's jaw dropped. She walked over to Cloud and took Baby from his hands and gripped his neck again.

Lily ran towards him, pretending she was going to slam him in the chest, but at the last second, shoved on foot in front of her, and grabbed his legs, skidding underneath him and tripping him. Once on the groud she grabbed her bow and flipped Cloud over. "Anwser your question?" She asked, dusting her black shirt and jeans.

Cloud gritted his teeth and jumped up with the momentum of his legs so that his body pushed Lily back. Reuben rushed over to Lily. "What the fuck do you think you're doing?!" He made a silent sigh of relief as Skylar gripped his hand.

Annabelle held on to Baby tightly. She wasn't comfortable around here anymore.

Cloud looked at Reuben. Reuben gripped her hand tighter and glanced from Melinoe to Skylar. He wondered what she had said.
