Reuben's eye twitched as Skylar seemingly floated into the sky. He pulled out his sword, and swung at whatever was mindfucking them.

IC: Whatever it was it had gotten hit by Reuben. It dropped Skylar and wailed out in pain.

Skylar had gotten a gash down her face from when she fell from hitting the wall, blood poured freely. The monster made a grab for Reuben but was stabbed from his flailing sword.

Reuben dashed forward, but his dead arm was caught by the monster and he was thrown back, beside Skylar. His shadow made a dash out the door, and Reuben wondered what the little thing was doing now. He got back up, desperate for survival.

Skylar moaned. She seemed to be coming to. The monster made another grab for her and picked her back up. This time it started to squeeze.

The shadow suddenly burst forth, a small metal pipe in hand, with a license plate strapped around its arm like a sheild. Reuben stabbed at the monster, while the shadow seemed to flost around as it scaled the monsters back. "Let her go you douchenozzle!" He slashed at his invisible opponent with excruciating force.

Skylar gasped from pain. The monster lowered her in front of Reuben's sword. Human shield. The blade slashed her leg.

Reuben stopped himself quickly. Fuck! He tried to dodge the monsters hand when the shadow started to flail at the monster with its pipe.

The shadow monster flicked off Baby (I named him :P) forcing him to hit the wall. It then disappeared with Skylar in grasp.

Reuben sat there, stunned. He grabbed Baby (e_e) and cradled him in his arm. He looked around cautiously. He crept throguh the darkening building, and decided to hide the shadow in a sock for safety. He drew his sword and looked through the darkness.

Skylar was knocked out once more. The shadow moved swiftly, going to the basement.

Reuben looked down the pit where Skylar had almost fallen. He saw a swift movement, and he followed it with his eyes before jumping in, landing on the dusty floor with a barrel roll.

The monster didn't stop it hid Skylar in a secret hole before turning on Reuben.

The shadow ducked into the wall and came out behind him. It picked him up and tossed him into the air.

Reuben screamed silently as he plummeted down. He suddenly got an idea, and landed right on the dinosaurs head.
