Back Stabbing Return

Liz snuck into her father's throne room. She grabbed the first two shards she saw and raced off before he found her in there. He deserved this. He wouldn't do what she asked and now she was going to get back at him. She had the bodies prepared in her room. She'd been working on getting Amethyst there so here father wouldn't notice and the boy, Cloud, was just a bonus. She knew Amethyst could defeat her father if she tried harder and didn't have someone holding her back. Even if that someone was the love of her life, who didn't even care for her any longer. She shook her head. None of that now. she thought. Liz walked into her room. The bodies were laying on her bed. She cut a slit into where their dead, unbeating hearts were. Who said they had to be in one of the most easiest places to cut off? she decided. It was a shallow slit an she slid the shard into the wounds. She waited for the magic.

Cloud was silent before he awoke with a sharp jolt, coughing as he sat up. He looked around slowly, trying to process what had happened.

Amethyst had a quieter wake up, considering she still didn't have her voice. She looked over to see herself laying next to a boy. She jumped out of the bed and landed silently on the floor. Her head smacked the ground. She winced.

Liz laughed. "IT WORKED!"

Cloud shot a glance to where Amethyst had fallen. "W-what?" He turned to Liz.

"Welcome back." she replied. "I have brought you back to life. You were both dead."

Amethyst rubbed the back of her head. Ow... she thought.

"But... why?" He asked. He tried to remember what happened to him, and his memories came flooding back. He got the mental image of Odin standing over him, stabbing him through the heart. He clenched his fists.

IC: Amethyst stood up. She remembered Loki was captured. Her jaw set. His fault... She wouldn't have died if he wasn't so careless. This would've all ended.

OOC: Alright x3

IC: Cloud's hate was overwhelming when he thought deeper. He left the Wal-Mart when he was rejected. If it wasn't for her- No. If it wasn't for that whole Gang he would have been living.

Amethyst looked at the boy. He seemed to have the same hate she had. She looked back at Liz.

Liz cleared her throat. "I have resurrected you to kill the Shadow King."

Amethyst shook her head no and walked over to the door.

Cloud gave her a quizzical look, his gaze focused behind Liz. "We're... inside the Shadow Fortress..." He looked around warily. "We can't kill the Shadow King..." He began to follow Amethyst. "He's to strong."

Liz looked devastated. "Oh... shit..." she realized what went wrong. "I gave them shadow powers..." She didn't stop them, only let them leave. She had compassion, unlike some half-bloods, she didn't want to tease them with life. She sat on her bed with her head in her hands.

Amethyst realized the boy was following her. She whirled around to face him. Giving him a weird look. She was wondering who he was.

Cloud put his hands up. "Sorry, I don't know my way out of here."

Amethyst shook her head. She didn't know how to ask him. She checked her coat pocket to find her pad. YES! she thought. She wrote down on it.
I'm Amethyst Wolf. Who are you?

He looked at it with a quizzical look. "Cloud Callus." He said. Could she not speak?

Amethyst smiled. And continued to write.
I'm mute because of an accident with a certain shadow. What do you think we should do?

He nodded in understanding. "Well, I'm going to look for my brother for a little... visit." He said, feeling his belt for his cutlass.

Amethyst blinked. She nodded, writing.
Brother? May I come?

"Uh, sure." He said. He wondered if this girl had been apart of the Rebels. "His name is Reuben."

Amethyst's eyes widened. Reuben!!! she thought to herself. I wonder if he's still sad about my passing... Amethyst started running. She wanted to find it out.

"Hey, wait up!" He said, running after her. How did she know him?

Amethyst ran all the way to the front door and burst out of it. She only waited a little bit for Cloud to catch up before racing off again.

Cloud was soon running beside her. "You're in a hurry." He mumbled.

Amethyst nodded softly and continued to run out toward the direction of the Walmart.

Meanwhile...

Skylar awoke to find Annabelle cleaning again. "Jesus lady. Don't you ever stop?"
Annabelle rolled her eyes. "No."

Reuben laughed. "You know, you don't have to clean so much." He said, Baby leaping on to his arm.

Annabelle nodded. "It's a reflex. Besides, this place is filthy."
Skylar laughed. "Wow."

Amethyst was almost to the door. She stopped to catch her breath.
