Reuben laughed. "It's not that dirty..." He looked to Baby as he sniffed the air. Baby leaped off his arm and scampered towards the door.

Cloud stopped beside Amethyst. "So, you did know them..."

Skylar went up to Reuben and kissed him on the cheek. "No. It's not."

Amethyst nodded. She looked over and saw Skylar kiss Reuben. Her heart fell. He moved on...

Baby pushed open the door and leaped up at Amethyst, landing on her arm. Reuben smiled at Skylar when he turned to look at the door. His eyes widened and his heart quickened. "N-no... It can't be..."

Amethyst hugged Baby like she used to. She smiled happily. She looked up at Reuben, Tears came to her eyes.

Skylar looked up. She froze. "I-Isn't.... that Amethyst....?"
Annabelle looked up to only see Cloud.

Cloud froze, his hurt eyes locked with Annabelle.

Reuben didn't know what to say. He was shocked and confused. "I-It can't be..." His voice trailed off.

Annabelle couldn't look away. Her heart leaped at the sight of him but she knew he had been hurt by her and her insensitiveness.
Skylar looked away from the girl.

Amethyst walked over, Baby still in her arms. She felt like screaming at Reuben, her heart was aching and she felt betrayed.

Amethyst nodded softly. She blinked and a tear fell from her face.

Annabelle's face dropped to the ground.

Reuben feet were planted to the ground. "I-I thought..." His gaze drifted to Cloud before shooting back at Amethyst.

Cloud lifted Annabelle's face with a gentle finger. He was completely silent.

Annabelle stared back up at him. Her cheeks reddened.

Reuben looked to Skylar. He was confused. He stepped back from all of them.

Cloud broke the silence. "Do you still hate me?"

Annabelle starred into Cloud's eyes with her soft royal blue eyes. "I never hated you."

Reuben's legs felt like rubber. He walked closer to Skylar. "How...Why..."

"I understand. It feels that way, it feels you with a horrible absence not to be loved back." He said with a glance away.

Amethyst stepped closer. Her silence was haunting.

Reuben was still processing all of this. His arm started swinging like a pendulum, and he had to stop it with his good arm.

Amethyst glared. Her eyes had fire burning within them. Her scythe was glinting.

"I'm sorry I hurt you Cloud. I just... I've lived so long without expressing my feelings... I wasn't ready..." Annabelle tried to explain.

Cloud stared at her, trying to read her and tell truth from fiction.

Reuben noticed her scythe. He raised an eyebrow. They could have only been revived by one person...

Amethyst put Baby on her shoulder and she started writing in her notepad. Once she was done she threw it at Reuben's face.
I see I was forgotten. Like you ever loved me. She turned her back and walked toward the door.

Annabelle gulped. She hoped he'd believe her.

Reuben read it slowly and looked up with teary eyes. He had no idea what to say. He felt horrible, dread filling up within. I did love you... He mouthed. He looked at Skylar and the guilt dragged him down like shackles. He loved Skylar, and repeated his words to himself. I love Skylar and no one else.

Cloud's eyes softened. "C-Can I believe you?"

Skylar looked up at Reuben and Amethyst, she sighed.

Annabelle blinked. "Only if you trust me."

Amethyst walked to the door and looked back at Cloud. She wondered if he was coming. She then remembered Baby on her shoulder. She glanced at him, Would he stay with her or Reuben?

Cloud lifted her face up. "But I do..." He knew he was probably fooling himself, but it was better to live a lie. His mind was still to confused to think.

Baby grabbed its head. Amethyst couldn't be alive after all this time?

Skylar took her hand back. "No." She shook her head and walked away.
Annabelle smiled and reached up and kissed his lips.
Amethyst put Baby in her arms and hugged him close. She missed him.

Cloud's eyes widened, he had never kissed someone before.
Baby was confused but looked up at Amethyst, joy beginning to flare up in his eyes.
