ATA-How it Happened
It was 2017. The Moon suddenly left it's orbit, and the Earth was a dark cold place. Millions caught disease from the cold and darkness, many became crazy and committed suicide, and many were killed by other things. Shadows. Shadows were wiped out when the Moon first appeared, after a meteor struck Earth. The gravitational pull of the moon kept them away. Though, as the moon suddenly disappeared from the orbit, the shadows once again appeared, and killed off most of the disease survivors. Now, only about 8,000 people live in the world, and there is a popular group of rebel survivors in New York City. These survivors are the closest in the world to the Shadow Fortress, and are the only ones that can save the human race from becoming completely extinct.

REGULAR SHADOWS:
SHADOW MONSTER:
NIGHTCRAWLER:
Vicious, sharp clawed creatures, that can slink into the ground.
LARGE SHADOW MONSTER:
Larger more tougher shadow monsters, about 9 feet tall.
GHOST SHADOW:
Harmless annoying little shadow, who always say "suuuu"
SHADOW SHROOM:
Mario much? Anyway, these guys can poison you, unless sleeping gas, and paralyse you.
POSSESSOR:
These guard the castle,likely possessing others and making them jump off of cliffs.
PARASHADOW:
Flying shadows that like aerial attack.
SHADOW LEECH:
Leeches that control your mind, slowly damaging your brain until you are a slave of the shadow race. Damage is able to be healed, as long as you abstract the leech.
SHADOW SPIDER:
3 foot long spider with can spray venom within a 2 meter range.
SHADOW DOGS
Bloodthirsty, fast killing machines, with yellow glowing eyes.
ELITE SHADOW
Soldier shadows with ember symbols on their chests. They can hover and release small fires.
VALGON
A vulture-like shadow. It waits in the sky before lunging to the Earth and capturing its prey. It also eats other, weaker shadows.
SHADOW FISH
A fish shadow that can be found in the lake at the park. It leaves no scraps behind.
STALKS
Shadows that follow you through the ground. They are cowardly and do not come up a lot.
