The remake of ATA, when the human race goes endangered.

ATA-How it Happened
It was 2017. The Moon suddenly left it's orbit, and the Earth was a dark cold place. Millions caught disease from the cold and darkness, many became crazy and committed suicide, and many were killed by other things. Shadows. Shadows were wiped out when the Moon first appeared, after a meteor struck Earth. The gravitational pull of the moon kept them away. Though, as the moon suddenly disappeared from the orbit, the shadows once again appeared, and killed off most of the disease survivors. Now, only about 8,000 people live in the world, and there is a popular group of rebel survivors in New York City. These survivors are the closest in the world to the Shadow Fortress, and are the only ones that can save the human race from becoming completely extinct. This is the Prolouge of ATA. Help make the story.

Ari blinked. It was night time, and he found himself in the subway, watching a shadow run by. It was about 10 feet tall, and didn't notice him, for it was munching on a few dead bodies by the tracks, bent over like a T-rex. Ari found himself trembling, backing away.

The shadow paused during it's meal. It was glowing orange and had no arms. Ari ran for his life, followed by it. It gained easily, headbutting Ari into a wall.

Walker roared, throwing ari off his back just as Ari stabbed it. Glowing orange fluid leaked from the wound, and it charged at the other two.

Reuben ran at the Walker, side stepping as it ran. He stabbed it into the leg as it ran past. He jumped back, but he he realized he might not run away in time.

Ari never saw Annabelle curse like that. She was usually quiet and polite. And now he saw one....no three...no two...Annabelles deserting Reuben. He struggled up, dizzy.

Walker roared in pain, clamping it's jaws around Reuben's leg and throwing him onto the tracks.

Walker sunk it's teeth into Annabelle's arm, and lifted her from the ground. It was treating her like prey. Ari frowned, running at the beast.

One shot missed. One shot lodged into Walker's jaw. The other in Annabelle's arm. (I love making Kai have shitty aim.)
Walker dropped Annabelle, and Ari jumped, lodging his cleaver in the creature's skull. It stumbled, roared, and vanished, a gem in it's wake.
