ATA-How it Happened
It was 2017. The Moon suddenly left it's orbit, and the Earth was a dark cold place. Millions caught disease from the cold and darkness, many became crazy and committed suicide, and many were killed by other things. Shadows. Shadows were wiped out when the Moon first appeared, after a meteor struck Earth. The gravitational pull of the moon kept them away. Though, as the moon suddenly disappeared from the orbit, the shadows once again appeared, and killed off most of the disease survivors. Now, only about 8,000 people live in the world, and there is a popular group of rebel survivors in New York City. These survivors are the closest in the world to the Shadow Fortress, and are the only ones that can save the human race from becoming completely extinct.

...Loki walked into the depths of the old subway, hooked on finding it's secrets. Something was drawing him. Something relating to his dark past. Everything creaked, as if the place was alive, and slight scurrying erupted. Suddenly, there was a crash, and a nightcrawler appeared in the light of the flashlight, hissing.

A flash went through the light as Amethyst's scythe caught it. Her scythe went through the nightcrawler as if it were paper. "Told you I'd see you later." She smiled.

Loki nodded and looked around, surprised to come face to face with an Elite. It lunged at him, though Loki quickly dodged. He sliced it, and it disappeared into smoke. "Here they come.." he announced, as shadows filled the area.

They all leapt at once. Loki ran up and slashed one, then kicked another into the wall, stabbing it. Though, there were a lot, and they were shooting embers.

An ember hit Amethyst in her pale green jacket, burning through to her shoulder. The burning stung and she quickly swatted it away before slicing the shadows away from her with her scythe. She winced from the burn.

OOC:Dude, I don't have to get hit every post >>' Just because you are good at fighting doesn't dub you a god modder. Though, if I morphed with a high class shadow, that'd be another story .3. (Y'know Swifty is still mad about that? =.=')

OOC: I wasn't talking about you being a g-modder. I was reading in past topics where you said I was god modding. I'm sorry if you felt I was attacking you .3.
IC: Amethyst was too busy with the shadows on her ass to notice Loki was trapped. Shadows clawed at her dress, tearing it and revealing her scarred up legs. She winced and retaliated by cutting off some of their heads, giving her a view of Loki's sword on the ground. She put the pieces together and hurried to retrieve to weapon.

Shink! A large claw mark raked through his white jacket, as he tried his best to dodge the nightcrawler's blows. He didn't want to give any melee, for the shadow might hit him. Melee made him open.

Loki knelled as the nightcrawler slashed him, before glancing over at Amethyst. She had his sword, though, something was grabbing her. He couldn't see what.

Amethyst turned around and screamed. The thing holding on to her was her father. Her throat tightened and the screamed died to a whisper. She gulped. Her voice had hidden within her. Coward... she thought.

IC: Amethyst found herself lost. Her head became dizzy. You died... she thought... I SAW YOU DEAD! Her father had a devilish grin to him. just like that night. She couldn't close her eyes and wish him away. She found herself getting lost in memories.

Damnit Loki thought, pinned to the wall. Though he found a blind spot. On his heels, he slid under the shadow, and ran towards Amethyst.

Adrian had been walking past the entrance of the Subway when she heard the fighting. With her sword gripped in her hands out in front of her, she rushed down to see what was going on. When she got there, she gasped. Shadows, and a lot of them. Then, out of the corner of her eye, she saw Loki and Amethyst. They really needed help. She needed to act. An idea suddenly popped into her head. "Hey shadows! Over here!" She shouted, hoping to draw their attention to her.
